A fun and inviting way to introduce young actors to performing and storytelling!
This class is aimed at kids who love to dress up, love to soak up the spot light, want to learn how to project their voices, and want to exercise their creativity on and off the stage! In this two-week class we will bring a familiar tale to the stage! Participants will explore a familiar tale, collaboratively write a simple script based on that tale, be chosen for roles, practice for their performance held on the last day of class – to which you are invited!!! In addition, the participants will play theater games, learn script memorization techniques, and create set/costume/prop pieces!
Class is limited to 12 children, 1st - 4th graders.
