When: Rehearsals are on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. starting July 8th, 2019. Performances are Friday Aug 2nd at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday Aug 3rd at 2:30 p.m. (with an additional rehearsal on Wednesday July 31st and an initial meeting on Thursday, June 13th).

Exotic birds escape from an aviary and suddenly Averill Park becomes a bird watcher’s paradise! Or so says two inexperienced reporters. A motley crew of local birders--some competitive, others anxious or lost in thought, and one with over-the-top enthusiasm--heads into the woods with hopes of being the very best at the hunt. Meanwhile a Bluebird of Happiness is not so happy and bewildered flamingoes and an arrogant peacock try to find their way with the “help” of native friends – an excitable robin, bossy heron, and raucous geese. Which bird watcher will be the first to happen upon them? And will they ever find the elusive psittacine? Join us for this year’s musical comedy, “For the Birds”.
No experience necessary!
